FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions About Die Medien Werkstatt

Holzwürfel mit den Buchstaben FAQ

01

Which companies do you work with?

We work with companies of all sizes – from solo entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized businesses to large corporations. What matters is less the size of the company than the wish for a professional, cohesive presence. We frequently work with service providers, skilled trades, creative businesses and organizations that want to sharpen or modernize their brand.

02

Which services do you offer?

Our core services are web design, print design, brand building and brand positioning as well as consulting for analog and digital advertising. This includes corporate design, logo development or refresh, and the design of websites, brochures, flyers, business stationery and other communication materials. On request, we also coordinate additional services through our network – such as copywriting, photography or development – while you always have one central point of contact.

03

What does a typical project look like?

It starts with a structured briefing in which we clarify goals, target audiences, content, scope and timeline. We then develop a concept, align it with you and turn it into concrete designs – for example website layouts, corporate design or print products. After your feedback, we refine the design and take care of the technical or production implementation. At any time, you know where the project stands and what comes next.

04

How long does a project take?

The duration depends heavily on scope and preparation. Smaller design tasks or individual print products can often be completed in a few days or 2–3 weeks, while extensive websites or complete brand identities take 3 weeks to 3 months. If you have a specific timeframe, please mention it directly in your inquiry – we’ll tell you openly what can realistically be achieved in that time.

05

How much does it cost to work with Die Medien Werkstatt?

Flat prices without knowing the project wouldn’t be serious. Costs depend on the services you need, the complexity of the project and the number of revision rounds planned. After an initial conversation and a more specific task description, you receive an individual quote that transparently breaks down services and scope. That way, you know exactly what you’re investing in.

06

In which languages can projects be carried out?

We can support projects in German, Spanish, English and French. Depending on your needs, we develop designs that work for several language versions or help you adapt existing content to other markets. On request, we use AI-assisted translations or involve specialized translators from our network so that content and tone fit your brand.

07

Do you only work locally or also remotely?

We work with clients on site as well as fully remotely. Many projects can be carried out efficiently by email, video call and shared documents. Where it makes sense, on-site meetings or hybrid formats can be arranged. What matters to us is that communication remains structured and reliable – regardless of distance.

08

Can I reuse existing materials?

Yes, gladly. If you already have a logo, corporate design, website or print materials, we’ll review together what can be kept, revised or newly developed. A careful modernization often makes more sense than starting from scratch – especially if your brand already enjoys a certain level of recognition. The goal is a cohesive overall picture that respects your history and feels contemporary.

09

What should my first project inquiry include?

Helpful are a brief description of your company, the occasion (e.g. new website, relaunch, brand building, new print materials), your goals and a rough timeframe. If materials already exist (logo, website, brochures), please add links or files. An indication of your budget helps us make suggestions that fit your possibilities – but it isn’t required.

10

How do I start working with you?

The first step is an email with your project inquiry. We review your information, clarify open questions and suggest a suitable framework for our collaboration – for example an initial consultation, a brand workshop or a specific quote for web design or print.

Send us a short email about your project – we’ll get back to you shortly and show you which next steps make sense for your brand.
